Yes, I think this is Lawlers 18th consecutive season on the Main Tour, and he managed to get to a quarter-final once (!). I know what the term means, i.e. who to describe with it. I just thought it is something more, lets say slangish, and it is not the prefered term to use while commentating or writing articles. The truth is, it´s more an exception than rule for me to listen to English sport commentary, so I haven´t known it was widely used term.
Nothing to worry about of course, I was just wondering about the usage.

I agree, i was surprised too, to see world snooker describe one of their own players that way. Its not the most flattering of terms is it.
