Anybody who says he didnt lose that match and miss that black on purpose is a liar.
He wanted out of this match and tournament from the start.
And we all know what happens when you are in two minds.
So am I a liar now?

i am in deep shocked by the fact ronnie missed that black. OMG! I knew something was wrong when he tried that 7th black in i can't remember which frame. What a letdown by ronnie. I am so disappointed!2009 Shanghai Roewe Masters Fantasy Game - 1ST RUNNER UP

So it's O'Sullivan that ruins the perfect record for the seeds. Not that big of a loss to the tournament if he was going to play like that anyway.
That leaves a very open part of the draw. A chance for either King or Tian to get to the business end of the tournament.

that final black is soooooo wrong in so many ways, any player would've just punched/stunned it in at medium pace, he aimed high and just rolled it, making sure he'll leave it up, any decent player can see a BIG problem with that shot, it was NOT a matter of trying to roll it IN, as clearly that wouldn't be an option for a player of his caliber... that IS deliberate... The question is, WHY?Last edited by lk8; 31 March 2010, 01:52 PM.

Each year Ron has been chasing 147's when theyre clearly not on, and missing the yellow as he did, you could just tell he was willing Tiang to clear, and i had the feeling before he played the black he was going to do that...
Shame...

It wasnt just the last black it was his overall play that was disgraceful, lashing shots around, going for crazy pots. Including twice on frame ball trying something ridiculous instead of just winning the frame.
You telling me he would have done these things next month in Sheffield?
He threw that match on purpose.
