It wasnt just the last black it was his overall play that was disgraceful, lashing shots around, going for crazy pots. Including twice on frame ball trying something ridiculous instead of just winning the frame.

now that you mentioned, the same last frame, instead of stunning the blue to get on the pink in the middle, he instead went to play tonnes of top left to leave a hard pink in the corner, you don't do that when you needed the lot to win a frame, Ronnie is no begginer....

yes exactly, there were a few shot selections that he made was utterly wrong by his standard!!! I remembered clearly that he decided to go into the two reds on the bottom cushion from a colour instead of positioning the cue ball for the loese reds. He ended up losing that frame. OMG I AM STILL IN SHOCKED! crazy!

that final black is soooooo wrong in so many ways, any player would've just punched/stunned it in at medium pace, he aimed high and just rolled it, making sure he'll leave it up, any decent player can see a BIG problem with that shot, it was NOT a matter of trying to roll it IN, as clearly that wouldn't be an option for a player of his caliber... that IS deliberate... The question is, WHY?

(Though once I was told shots with top-spin are more accurate).
