This is what I'm hoping for, as well.

Some great snooker between Selby and Ding, by the way..

Very entertaining match, with a vintage Selby performance. He somehow managed to win all the close frames, even though Ding didn't really miss anything easy.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited by the SF lineup... But which match is the better one? Selby-Dott or Williams-Fu? I think Selby's match might be the one that goes the distance tonight.

I hope for MJW:Selby final now .... impressive stuff from Selby, that escape from snooker, what a shot -) and his pot success was not that bad too :-)

Very good match, better than the scoreline implies. Selby's on fire! But can he maintain this kind of form through to the final?

I'd be interested to see the stats on what percentage of matches Ding has won coming from behind. One of the commentators said that in a match against Liang Wembo, Ding smashed the pack of reds on the break, which effectively gave Liang the frame and match. Anyone know when this was?

On EPTC3, Ding lost to Liang Wenbo by 0-4 weirdly

I dunno what Dott has to do to get on TV. He wins a really highly high quality match with Maguire and still it seems he gets stuffed for a TV appearance. It is a disgrace.

He's unlucky to draw Selby here. Williams-Fu is the one that looks set to have more flair..
Things could be different, though. Televised games are generally chosen with a biased view, perhaps.

It is a damn disgrace. So much for treating players fairly.

Well, that's the problem with this format. Dott can now reach the final without any of us seeing him play. I would have preferred an extra day, with both SFs and another QF being televised. But what can you do...

I'm certainly not complaining about having to watch a Williams-Fu match.

Its not just the format. Both Selby and Williams have been on a TV Table before. I was disapointed but not surprised to see he was not on. Some things just never change, new regime or not.

Graeme Dott could cause a minimal decrease in the ratings, anyway.
At least, there is at least one person on the earth, who can't hold his own to watch chalk blowing..
Will the cameras turn to the other semi-final after Williams-Fu? If that's the case, then, it could have been a lot better.

God, blowing chalk??, easilly annoyed are you mate?. I am not saying that Williams/Fu would not be a good game. I am just maintaining that World snooker do not know the meaning of fair, even amongst the top 16 who are all supposed to be treated the same but clearly are not.

I am also quite sure Graeme does not care whether he is on TV or not but his family and friends do care.

Sensible decision. Selby has been on TV twice already, and MJW is by far the biggest name left in the tournament.

Can't help but feel sorry for Dott though, he's great to watch too.
