If you really believe that, then "if John Higgins was in the final, he would have wiped the floor with any of these two jokers" would have sufficed quite nicely.
The "Hypothetically speaking" bit was presumably an attempt to sound clever.
You don't sound clever, you sound like a total arse.
If you want to disrespect two excellent pros, who have just produced an excellent match, at least get your grammar right, or better still, don't do it on this forum.

Who is matoski? Sounds very Russian to me.

Anyway, after the great first session where we had top quality snooker, the second session had way too much tip taping, re racking, grinding and bottling for my liking. (lol, i started to rime in my posts). Mark Williams seemed like he couldn't put out of his mind the 2010 UK final, while Mark Selby wanting to win this so badly, returned to his tactics from 3-4 years ago when he played mind games with his opponents to put them off.

As for the venue, this was the most successful tournament (apart from WC) regarding the atmosphere and the number of spectators throughout the entire event. A full success! The governing body should organize at least one or two more rankers in mainland Europe for the next season after this success. Perhaps in Poland, Belgium, The Netherlands etc. Maybe they can drop out one of Chinese held tournaments, because they are very poorly attended unless Ding or Liang is playing. Compare this event to Bahrain Championship 2008 No more experiments, mainland Europe, I say!

                            • Well, what can you say? Another great victory for the game of snooker. I don't think I've ever seen such a fascinating tactical encounter before. It wasn't one-visit stuff, but they really did play some great shots tonight.

So, Williams gets another title pretty quickly after that UK final, even though some people thought he wouldn't get over it. He played some vintage stuff in this tournament.

As for Selby, every credit to him as well. He was up against it for most of the day, put under pressure in the first session, and then fought his way back into the match. If he wasn't facing someone who was his equal in fighting spirit, I think he might have made it.

In the context of the season... It's interesting, we had the "big four" players in the 2007/2008 season, when Murphy, Maguire, Selby and O'Sullivan shared most of the titles between them, but just look at it now... They don't hold any major title between them, and the big four now seems to be Higgins, Robertson, Williams and Ding. How quickly things can change...
