    More heartbreak for Jimmy !!

    Ricky Walden 3-1 Marcus Campbell
    Tom Ford 3-2 Jimmy White
    Rod Lawler 0-3 Jamie Cope
    Barry Pinches 1-3 Gerard Greene
Dave Harold 0-3 Mark C Davis
    Adrian Gunnell 0-3 Fergal O'Brien
    Michael Judge 3-2 Dominic Dale
John Parrott 2-2 Drew Henry. Match suspended at 2-2 due to running over time ? Seems very harsh not to let them finish !!

Rory McLeod 2-3 Tony Drago (no surprise that the drago match finishes first from the 1130 batch)
    Robin Hull 3-0 Stuart Pettman
    Jimmy Michie 3-0 Joe Delaney
Paul J Davis 1-3 Andrew Norman
David B Gilbert 1-3 David Roe
    Mark Allen 3-2 Joe Jogia
    Mike Dunn 2-3 Scott Mackenzie
    Shokat Ali 2-3 Jamie Burnett

My first thought: Well, Jimmy is only one frame behind. Could be much worse. He can still win it.

    Then I realised that it's only best-of-five .

    So, on second thought: *crying*

Lol yes, it would have been half the time again if Drago had taken it 3-0

A lot of the matches now seem to be running well over schedule. (5 out of 8) I guess the time frames (no pun intended) are very tight indeed. They are not all Tony Dragos after all.

Wonder if a load of the 2nd batch are going to be suspended and recalled later, presumably like Parrot had to.

Or Maybe Janie on the GSC just hasnt had time to do all the updates yet.

            Oh thanks for the results!
So Drago was 'speedy' as always, i guess the match was over before Rory knew what hit him .

            ..geez..Jimmy lost again! What a pity !
Pretty bad start for Dale also, tho he seemed very confident during NIT...

Paul Wykes should buy himself an atlas - he'll need it to find Prestatyn for the PIOS series it looks like he'll be playing next year.

Also, is there any point in Dene O'Kane playing on the Pro Tour this year? How well does he need to do in the remaining events to guarantee a place on tour next season, seeing as he's missed both the NIT and Grand Prix?

who are all these guys though??[/QUOTE]

Unless we are top amateur or pro players ourselves (im not) or one of the few who go to Pontins to watch the qualifiers we will never see most of these guys. Only the best ever make the breakthrough to the higher ranks of the top 32 who become regular faces on our TVs. Some of the others occasionally get through to the TV stages here and there.

What is worrying though, is that Jimmy is losing to these guys ranked even lower than him. When will he end his long long losing streak. Meanwhile Tony Drago seems to be reversing his terrible season last year, and getting several wins under his belt at the start of the season.
