If Jimmy REALLY wants to comeback in the top 16, he needs to REALLY focus on snooker, and start practicing like a maniac. He should try the Pro/Am events to realize what the motivated and devoted players are capable of.
He should stop playing on the IPT Tour, stop playing poker, reduce his exhibitions and spend 6 hours/day at the practice table.
Mr Kevin KELLY, what are you doing ?

I think "journeyman" was the name. I guess it means he just along for the ride. Maybe Pinches brief spell of modestly higher success is all he will have.

I am afraid we won't see much of Jimmy this season as i don't think he'll manage to break through the qualifying rounds .
Unfortunately , the way i see it it is Jimmy's last season as a pro...
"I guarantee you I will be in the top 16 for next year. I am far too good." - those were Jimmy's words before the season begun. Am i the only one around who thinks that is almost impossible to happen ?!

I think he needs just one win to start turning things around. There's no way he could quit on such a downer. He would feel terrible.

Jimmy is on a very long losing streak also including his efforts at on the International Pool Tour..When did he last win any match ? You would have to back a long way to find it. I think he won just one match in the whole of the last season ?

I dont necessarily think this will be Jimy's last year. I mean look at Tony Drago who had a terrible season last year, but seems to have turned things round this year, already getting several wins under his belt. Drago will be steadily climbing back up the ranks and rebuilding his confidence. This is what Jimy needs to do aswell.

There's not a hope in hell that Jimmy will ever get back in the top 16. At this rate it will be an astonishing turn around for him to even get back into the top 32. But that ambition is more achievable and realistic for him these days. That is not impossible, but unlikely unless he starts getting things together soon. Hope he can.

Lets hope dannyd0g's right and this win starts the ball rolling for Jimmy. Currently 4th in his group (roughly) so there's still a bit of work on. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
