It wasn't that he weren't playing well, he was just so laid back and playing really loose shots. I understand players miss shots but to leave balls on so many times is not at all like Higgins

        • Shaun Murphy (Eng) 0-1 Jamie Jones (Wal)
Graeme Dott (Sco) 0-1 Andrew Norman (Eng)
Stuart Bingham (Eng) 1-1 Gerard Greene (Ire)
Barry Hawkins (Eng) 3-0 James Wattana (Tha)
Ryan Day (Wal) 0-2 Mark King (Eng)
Stephen Lee (Eng) 1-0 Robin Hull (Eng)

Looks like Dott is out and Ryan Day has lost his first frames of the tournament.

          Come On Jamie Jones!!!

          • There have been several surprising casualties in this. Hendry has had incredibly poor results and Wattana seems to have suffered several whitewashes.

Guess they, along with Dott, wont be welcoming another round Robin.

            • Ding has struggled too. Although all of his defeats have come on the outside tables and we all know he isn't the same player when in a cubicle

If his match against Joe Perry is not on a tv table, he'll be a goner too. I think he needs at least a 3-1 to go through. If Norman beats Dott, he'll need to win 3-0.

                • I would imagine Ding V Perry is to be played in a cubicle as neither player is seeded (Top 16)

                  • if Dott lost to Norman, Ding must beat Perry with 3:0 to qualify (Norman, Ding). Any other score will see Norman and Perry qualify.

if Dott win, both Norman and Dott are out. If Ding win over Perry 3:1 or 3:0, Ding and Perry qualify. Any other scores will be Perry and Maguire.

Not sure whether Ding/Perry's match will be televised or not tonight.

                          • actually, ding didn't play too bad, andrew norman played very well to beat him 3-2 after leading 2-0, and maguire made two centuries, but only managed a 3-2 win over ding...
perry is ding's favorite guy, hopefully he'll win easily, but you never know...
i was hoping he could beat mark allen more convincingly...

                              • If he beat Mark Allen 3-1 then he only need 3-1 or 3-2 again Perry, but now he needs 3-0 or 3-1 depends on Dott's match
