Sorry if this has been mentionned before. How will the top two players be decided from each group if 2 or more have an equal number of wins. Is it points scored or head-to-head results???

If 2 players have an equal number of wins, then the head-to-head result decides.

If 3 or more players have an equal number of wins, then frame difference decides.

Head-to-head if two players tight. If more than 2 players tight, frame difference decides the order.

Is that frame differences (FD) from matches among those three? Or is it frame differences from all matches in the group?

Say player A, B and C all win four games and lose to each other.

A beats B 3-0, B beats C 3-1 and C beats A 3-2. Does that mean that A wins the group with FD 5-3, compared to 3-4 for B and 4-5 for C? Or will the FD from the other matches also count?

7. Should there be an equal number of matches won by two or more players, then the following criteria will determine the final position of each player in each group:
7.1 The player with the best Frame difference
7.2 If two players are still equal, the winner of the match between the two players who are equal
7.3 The player with the highest number of frames won
7.4 If two players are still equal, the winner of the match between the two players who are equal
7.5 If two or more players remain tied a one-frame play off will be played between the players who are equal.
7.6 If two or more players still remain tied after the one frame play off, then the following will apply:
7.6.1 Highest number of matches won in the play off, if still equal then,
7.6.2 Best Frame Difference from the play off, if still equal then,
7.6.3 Highest aggregate score from play off.

Really? I thought the head-to-head winner would the precedence over FD.

Still doesnt answer the question whether FD is calculated on all matches in the group or just on matches between the players on equal score, like in international football for example.
