Jimmy really does seem to have turned things around. !

Its tough to call how the match will go agaisnt Gray though.

Gray does seem to be on a downward spiral, and Jimmy seems to be bouncing back up but who knows.

I saw Jimmy against Davis in an exhibition last week in Bedford. It didn't really have the feel of an exhibition at all - both players seemed to be treating it as a practise match.

First frame was Jimmy against a young Bedford player, Sam Harvey. Quite a memorable frame; Jimmy broke off and left the white tight on the baulk cushion and was immediately let it when a long attempt on a red missed and he made a 116!

Then it was a best of 9 versus Davis which ended up 5-4 a couple of 80's in there.

Jimmy was on a 147 but fluffed it after losing position and then going in-off a thin snick. That made it 56-7 IIRC. Jimmy then finished it off.

Jimmy clinched another victory today, against David Gray (5-3)... not bad !
Next round tomorrow morning, against a tougher opponent: Michael Holt.
It will be a different story, but who knows...
Who thought he would have beaten Ken Doherty 5-1 earlier this month ?

vincent muldoon through to the 3rd round 5-1 over stuart pettman, dont really know much about this young player but found a video on google and looks to be an exciting one to watch, would be good to see him in the main draw.

Stuart Pettman is up against ROS next time. He´d better improve, or it can be over very quickly.

Jimmy is 2-0 up against Michael Holt this morning, not a bad start but I hope he can keep himself together, and doesn't get carried away too fast...
