After having won so much in the past I bow down to Mr. Davis for still trying his absolute best in each match, with the obvious limitations age brings. Where does he find the motivation!

I do remember they said that the referee was a local man, probably apart of the local referee's association in Scotland!!
While we are on the subject don't you all think Michael Holt is looking alot more relaxed around the table, whatever it is that he is doing I hope he keeps it up, his safety play is a hell of alot better too.

Mon the Magsy.
So Dott gets no pints for the Shanghai , neither for the GP. Sad and unfair id say."I just want to live for the moment.Tomorrow's not important, next month is not important, what's happened in the past is not important. That's my journey... and I like the journey i'm on!" R.O'Sullivan

If Maguire really wants to be no. 1. He certainly need to take his chances. Against Ronnie, he had the chance to win and blew it, and he got an uninspected chances in second frame and missed the pink in front of the cornerhole. As long as he does things like that he should worry more about keeping his no. 2 position !
And Cope is good, but also makes some silly shots once and a while, so he shouldn´t be a real thread.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE

OMG. First Maguire missed on the frameball, leaving it in front of the hole, next he does exactly the same on the respotted black. Cope 4 - 0 should have been 2- 2.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE

He (SM) doesn't seem to be at the races today. Missed a pink in 2nd frame he'd normally pot. Let in at end of 3rd frame and played a poor positional shot and then went for a tough double which was always going to lose the frame if he missed. 4th frame he played position on pink when black would have left Jamie needing snookers, but even so missed a red that he should always have potted.
Jamie has been gifted the last three frames - (although he was still strong favourite in 3rd frame)
He did used to demonstrate this mood on occasions, but last couple of seasons, it hasn't been evident. Snooker's world no.2 isn't displaying the form he can...perhaps pressure in front of family and friends. 4-0 down, maybe the pressure will be off and he'll perhaps pick up a couple of frames.

Unfortunately for Mags , Cope is cuing good. 95% pot success is not bad at all.
Magsy looks tired and off, cant see him coming back. Hope he'll prove me wrong tho.
