              • Ah, it's too bad that when someone wins someone has to lose...
I still remember crying after Hendry lost in the WC semifinal - although during the whole match I was staring at the computer screen and shouting 'Come on Ronnie'...
Snooker is so confusing sometimes. Good thing it's just a game

                • I wouldn't call it just a game. It's much more than that to a lot of players since it's their career. If your snooker is suffering, your finances are too.

                  • Well yes, for players it's their profession.
But for us spectators... Or what was said then about 'life and death thing'?

                    • I'm really pleased that Steve Davis made it through! I like the idea of the draw as it adds a little more excitement. Ronnie V Liang should be a cracker!

Ronnie vs Liang will be a whitewash.

Could you back that up with a few quid indicating who is on the wrong end?
                          Give'em hell, Mark :snooker:

                          • Was there anyone who saw the Allen - Holt match and could give a little matchreport ? I was quite surprised that Allen lost and even more that he got a huge beating as well.

Mark King also plays tomorrow. I'm tipping Mark for this title. He's going to send the Parrott back to the studio. With Davis still in the draw, he needs to be there.

I wonder what is awful, though. Perhaps the most awful thing about it is not so much that Davis won but that Robertson was unable to beat him, with Davis playing not all that well.

Having said that, I thought it was an absorbing match. I thought Davis really worked hard to limit Robertson's opportunities but, even having said that, Robertson had ample chances to win.
