Apparently the audience has been very sparse again this year, even on a saturday.

Maybe they should ditch Aberdeen and return to The Guild Hall Preston, which was always well attended !

Well it's not in Aberdeen, it's in Glasgow. I agree the crowds looked very sparse, but it has it's explanations... yesterday there were only two matches throughout the day. It could be like at the last year NI Trophy, when there were plenty of people further up, but lots of empty seats in front of the camera because WSA had reserved all of them (had a long fight with them about it then).

UK viewers can watch it all live on bbc interactive by pushing the red button on your digital TV remote control and it will give you exclusive live access to any match this week!

That's just great ! And what are the snooker fans in the rest of the world supposed to do ? Not even an internet stream.

Is this going to be the case for all events that BBC has rights to ?


Can't help but compare this to the Shanghai masters where they had all the matches streamed.

Scotland were playing too yesterday so that won't have helped.
