Yes, I agree. I am not one for only back to back centuries, like good safety and tactical battles as well. Have been around at many tournaments to widen my opinion. But davis has developed into the anti snooker over the last years. I vividly remeber a few rounds at The Crucible over the last couple of seasons which were gruesome to watch. Well, if the rest is not good enough, we have to live with it and watch it. Unfortunately the draw is very friendly to him again, so would not be surprised if he went all the way to the semis. Hope not, cause I am there.

It's understandable that he plays that way at his age. He can't knock in big breaks consistently anymore and he's using his experience and tactical knowledge to his advantage. I'm a Ronnie fan but I enjoy watching Steve grind out his opponents as much as Ronnie making century after century.

I understand all that Bobbond, and it is his right to play like it. Who am I to judge with a highest break of 36. His opponents tend to drag themselves in the mediocre quality of play when playing Davis. Its unworthy of professional snooker in my opinion. I like tactical battles where one is forced an error and the opponent takes an advantage. hardly the case here, its missing easy pots, poor safety etc. Comedy blunder of capers

Couldn't believe some of the balls Neil Robertson was missing today. I know he is low in confidence due to his poor run of late but i was certainly expecting him to play better than he did. Still it's a testament to Steve Davis's dogged and tactical determination that got him over the line today. Well done anyway Steve"Statistics won't tell you much about me. I play for love, not records."

Awesome display of form by Marco with the highest break of the tournament at 139 and a 5-2 win against Jimmy Michie. Jimmy Michie dominated the first session and really should have been at least 3-1 up but his confidence deteriorated after the interval.
That equaliser by Marco really boosted his confidence and now he goes into the Hat. I'm watching the Mark Allen match and I'm hoping he goes down tonight to the Hitman.只讓我們相戀 這一季的秋天, 飄落後才發現 這幸福的碎片。要我怎麼撿。
