I have tried viewing the faq's for the Eurosport player. It states that you must use Windows Vista. I have Windows XP Pro, and do not consider it worth paying an extortionate amount of money to Microsoft to upgrade. Obviously Eurosport have done a deal with Microsoft.

To view the BBC's online snooker coverage, your server must be based in the UK (does not matter if you view the UK or international version). This seems pointless to me, because if you live in the UK, you are able to receive BBC broadcasts on your television - so no need to watch online where quality is poorer.

According to Germany's Eurosport, live snooker will be broadcast on Sunday from 20.15 (German time).

Alternatively, http://channelsurfing.net sometimes shows Eurosport coverage.

No, pekmez, they won't - it's only for EurosportPlayer subscribers. There will be a free stream on Eurosport for the evening match though, but for afternoon session it seems we have no choice but to fight with BBC site

For anyone interested, visit http://youtube.com and search for snooker. A user called snookerfan92 has uploaded highlights from yesterday's Higgins v Hamilton match. But it is only 33 mins shown in four parts.

Apparantly you can watch thousands of satellite channels on any pc anywhere in the world, for a one-time setup fee. The elite edition states that eurosport tv is included.
