    3-1 to Higgins now

Looks like my 5-1 prediction wasn't far off!

What a load of modern wank.

4-1 it is. Why is John literally running away after clearing each frame ?

Ding's playing alright - most certainly better than the previous two tournaments. A few minutes, he make an awesome positional shot onto a green that was on the cushion from the other side of the table. He's still there.

yepp higgins wins 5-2, it was a scrappy match and i think higgi needs to improve a lot if he is to get any further and win his next match!

ding leads holt on the other table 4-2

I think in the end Higgins is happy he played Hendry because imo he was one of the weakest players he could meet......And Higgins didnt played that good, his game was mediocre, but Hendry was too weak......it looks like Pontins...

Hendrys lost a bit confidence at the moment, but in practice he is playing excellent snooker.. hes hardly missing a ball at all.. why he plays so poor out in the arena is a mystery to me. There are plenty tournaments left this season for him to improve and i doubt he will be joining jimmy at pontins for a good while yet! It was only a few months ago he thrashed ryan day, and ding in the WC so im pretty confident he can once again turn things round!

Hendry will never play @ pontins. I think he'll just retire when he drops out of the Top16.

But yeah, the match was horrible, I couldn't believe what I was seeing especially in the first 3-4 frames. I expected (and everyone else I bet) a match of high quality and not this scrappy thing.

Yes....Jimmy also played excellent in practice when he was 8th and in 2 years time he was ranked 60th.......and that run in the WC was really what saved Hendry, because if you look at it this season he is carying the form he had last season, except the WC.

Good to see Ding somewhat back from his recent Ronnie-washing.
Throughout the match Ding looked as dour as if someone p i s s e d in his Cheerios (cereal) this morning.
                                What's up with that?
