Nail biting decider that! Looked that Davis was going to be edged out but he thankfully pulled through in the end. He's had a decent start to the season so far the golden nugget, hope he can force his way back into the top 16!

The Hendry/ Higgins match didn't live up to the hype and expectation but John won't care as he's safely through. Hendry just hasn't been playing any where near his best lately and deserved to lose. Ding looks like he's back in form and i'm pleased for him after a couple of tough years!

Judd Trump will be a tricky draw for anyone, he looks very talented!

The Trump - Perry match was closer than seen from the result. Joe Perry wasn´t playing any good. He missed a lot of chances. It was a repeat of the O´Sullivan match and it seems like his good form has gone.

Trump had a run of the balls, similarily like Gunnel had against Murphy. He is talented alright, but i can't see him achieve much with that kind of play. He can be lucky one or two times, but that's ocasional. I'm sure he will loose the quarterfinal, exept he is drawn against Steve Davis.
