Royal London Watches Grand Prix Second Round Discussion
And he did lose. 5-1 to ROs.
Havent seen the whole match , just the final 2 frames..good playing from Ron , guess hes been practicing all nights and days since his match ag Wenbo.
Way to go Ronnie!
To Joao...i think the green missed by Ebbo was on its spot, should of been an easy shot..but...

Yes! I was scared about this match - Ronnie doesn't have a very good record against Fu.
I like Marco and I'm usually supporting him, but today I'm just glad that Ronnie won

Goes to show that statistics don't mean a lot. Davis beat Robertson in first round but Robertson was better in everything but safety success.
94% is impressive though But Fu just didn't have too many opportunities to miss balls today.
Ronnie's pot success should be about 96%, right?

Mark Selby v Ryan Day: 1-1.....both very recent encounters: Day won their Championship League clash 3-1, and Selby won 3-1 in Germany in the Paul Hunter Classic this season.
Peter on his way to score a max..12 reds and blcks potted..Mon Peter!:snooker:
EDIT: not a max after all.
Nope, because he missed a simple green, with only the other 4 colours left sitting on their spots, and after he missed it looked like he was gonna throw his cue into the audience.... he shouted and looked pretty damn upset.
I think a 147 is what ebbo wants more in snooker then anybody else, he seems to miss them at regular occurence...I saw him interviewed a while back saying how much he would love to have a dvd of him making a max and showing his grandchildren when he had retired from the game.. but with wanting one so badly is putting on the pressure and this is what is making him miss IMO
Peter Ebdon has attempted maximum brake quite often, if he were to make one, would he be the oldest player to make a maximum in professional tournament?
wtf, eurosport only featured 3 frames of the o'sullivan-fu match, i was very tense when i saw the two first brilliant frames an then they just put the last one, frustrating! OMG, got upset with Jankovich, couldn't she win the first two sets quikly so we could have seen the whole snooker match? No, and she lost...
