To be honest both players were pretty bad before the interval, shocking even as Joao pointed out. Both players missing by a mile and landing out of position all the time. Then Higgins adjusted and got it going progressively while Hendry din't but then he did not have that much time at the table neither. Yesterday we had pretty much the same scenario in the ROS vs Liang match. I know that many here laugh at Moondan and his "idée fixe" about the conditions. But maybe he HAS a point with his vindication thread ...
If so I wouldn't go to any conclusions about the players form and future based on what we see in this tournament.
