Watching some of the way other top 16 players played in Glasgow im not sure why Hendrys being singled out?
Yes Hendry was poor but in his match v Higgins, Higgins was no better the 1st few frames and we be talking about another tournament winner if Higgins had bin playing some1 else.
Hendry has done it all and has nothing to prove and plays the game the right way. Do you think 4a minute he would resort 2 Davis tactics 2 try and compete in top 16.

It certainly isn't looking good is it? Mark williams will be in the top 16 by the time Hendry drops out. I can't see Hendry in the top 16 in 2 seasons time.

3775 points this season, Only ebdon has the same points this season among the prov top 16. And only Murphy has worse (but is shielded with a good total)Last edited by Fist of Fury; 24 October 2008, 11:04 PM.

I'm afraid he's lost the ability to pot everything in sight from all areas of the table whatever the distance and angle to the pocket what it was in his heyday. To still try it now thinking he's still capable of possibly being the man he was when clearly he's not, can only be classed as nothing other than reckless.
If only he had realised 8 years ago when his long potting was starting to go haywire, and played more safety orientated to compensate. But sadly it's too late now and if he just constantly attack all the time with no success he will just keep falling further and further down the rankings.Last edited by david16; 24 October 2008, 11:25 PM.
