Davis-Gunnell SUMMARY
Although they are not really the best players in the game currently, this match was very amusing.
I believe Gunnell gained loads of confidence and self belief after an unexpected victory over murphy, who was really out of form, since the beginning of the season.
Davis himself did well to beat Robertson in the first round.
Whoever watched the gunnel-murphy match it was a nightmate for me, gunnell took A LOT of time to play MANY shots (really, around 1+ min each), whereas this match he played much faster, knocked some big good breaks (fr 4-6).
Davis himself went 3-0 up, a very good lead, but couldnt hold it for long.
The safety was also very good.
Last frame was REALLY entertaining. Mixed with good break-builds from both players, errors, safety exchanges, some easy chances missed, and the brown ball the commentators were talking about how hard is not only to pot, but to gain position for the blue, this was really a breathtaking moment.
I guess what Im trying to say is that I enjoed this match alot.
