    I wonder...
Ronnie played terribly today - and you know how big of a Ronnette I am so yes - and deserved to lose. Too many long pots missed in the exact same way, hitting the near jaw, too many positional errors and a capital one, the black in the 6th.
Judd made quite a few mistakes of his own but held his nerves better in the end and is a deserved winner.
What puzzles me is this: why can't Oh-The-Almighty-Infallible-King-Ronnie have an off-day, find it hard to focus and lose to a lower-ranked player without eyebrows rising and hints of dishonesty being made?
Plus, while we're at it, it's a lot easier to fix a 5-0 result than a 5-4 one.

Judd could capitalise more efficiently and held his composure better. That's why he won.
Ronnie got a bad day, encountered an eager opponent, made a lot more mistakes or at least more serious ones and failed to capitalise as efficiently. That's why he lost.
    Gah!
Can't a man lose a match in peace in the MT anymore?

Oh, almost forgot: Day FTW! For his clearance in the decider and the way he expressed his joy, after!
    C'mon, Ryan!

He probaly had chances earlier in the 4th frame, at least the live score looked like there was a long saftybattle in that frame. Last frame he didn't have a chance, fluke of not big brakes don't come easy, even if some players make them look easy Bit less negative play from Steve? I think he is entitled to make any kind of brake-off shot, after all he is 51 and he has come to terms with it. If it is harder to consentrate and his safety is good, there is no reason he should not use it. After all the best thing about snooker is variety of styles, snooker would be boring with only Wenbos and ROS or alternatively only Ebdons, Harolds and Davises

Esteemed BBC watchers, please, since I'm kind of worrried: was there any kind of post-match after the O'Sullivan/Trump q-final? I can't find it anywhere - BBC, worldsnooker, news websites - and...I'm worried, as I said.
        Help? Thanks.

I've missed the draw... What are the pairs for semifinals?

Now I have only John left in the tournament, so - go John!

... Ryan Day missing a straight forward pink for the highest break of the tournament so far. He really "annoys" me for struggling in the crucial moments.

Consecutive centuries to make it 3-1. Not bad from Ryan.

On the other table Ding seems pretty confident. 2-1 to Ding.

Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

Brilliant display by Ryan. Will be more than a handful for Carter. I think 6-4 for Ryan in the semis.

If - and there's if - Ryan plays like he played today and not like in previous two matches, I fancy him to win. Otherwise everything is possible.

Ding is not giving up, which is great to see.

Ryan Day is provisionally 3rd in the rankings. Nice bonus for his decent start of the season.
