Leo Scullion, Scottish or not, should not be reffing a semi final. He is absolutley awful.

Thoughts? Not so much as wishes, namely for Day to go all the way and win this. After two finals he's lost we could all get to see a determined, courageous player who capitalised wonderfully on his opponent's mistake, under such pressure.

Yes, he is awful, but so is Eirin Williams. And i guess he will be reffing the final. Some poor semifinals for today. I hope the final will be Higgins-Day though.

I'm guessing a Day-Higgins final with Day having the odds. He's badly in need of a first ranking and he fully deserves it.

....yes, John/Ryan final a classic, good to see, and would also like to see a Judd/Ali final, and how they both cope with the pressure....

            ....good luck guys..

Yes, I have to agree. He really is clueless when replacing balls, and I didn't like him warning Gunnell for slow play.

Agree about Scullion, but with Verhaas out, Chamberlain semi-retired and Williams refereeing the final, whom else do they have? I think Collin Humphreys would've been a better choice, but is he in this tournament?

I'd like John to win it - because he's too good a player to go the whole year without winning anything and because since he is forced to miss Bahrain he needs all the points he can get.

I have said this before: Eirian Williams is the worst referee in the history of the game. He cannot replace simple balls and worse than that, he doesn't concentrate to know where the balls are during a snooker. He takes too long to replace them, even with the help of a monitor. Then he laughs at his own shortcomings. I wouldn't take nonsense from this clown

Looks like Eiran Williams will be refereeing the final. It should be Michaela especialy in her home country.

Neighbours of the psychos who enjoy watching two people grunt and sprint across a rectangle for hours, smash their raquets, argue about ins and outs. For hours and days on end, for it seems each time the snooker coverage is about to begin, someone manages to tie-break, someone else manages to level on sets and some other someone manages to win the deciding set 9-7.
And Heaven forbid that tennis should be cut off for snooker! Although they seem to have 71 tournaments per season.

Higgins lead 3-1 at the interval

now he leads 4-2 as trump wins the 6th frame with a break of 79 his highest break of the match so far!
