Ryan will surely win something in the not too distant, i liked his temprement today, he had a nasty flick off the Brown to go in-off and John missed a red and left him tight on the Blue, but he just got on with it, it was always gonna be hard from 7-2 but he showed his battling qualities and what a potter the lad is.

Hard luck tonight but i'm sure his time will come :snooker:
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

      Both players played really well!~
It's been a great match to me.
Ryan caught up from 7-2 to 8-7 and John managed to hold his nerve and clinch the last...
      Really exciting!!!

I wonder who will have more ranking tournaments titles between Higgins and Ronnie at the end of their careers. I'd put my money on John. He is more than capable of wining yet another 10 rankers.

PHEW..didn't think that would turn out well...but it did! Overall a pretty crappy match....a lot of Hawaii-snooker there...Ryan did well to pull so many frames back..
Not a great match at all but John won and I'm happy...

If you take him to his word ... that will be hard work, especially for Denise ... Who's dreaming of a family with 13 kids?

Maybe if I don't win another one for a while we'll have to get back to the bedroom!"

              Priceless.

Ridiculous comment from John Virgo, saying that he was certain that Ryan Day will win a tournament this season. Absolute nonsense. People have been saying this for years...

Virgo is thick, it's not like he's universally acknowledged as the snooker oracle is it?

Well he has got the game, but do he have the nerves ? So far he has cracked when he came to a final. I would like to see him get a win though.

I hope he does too. Point is Virgo was saying it as though it was a certainty, which it certainly isn't given there's so many good players out there, and so few tournaments...

Every day I'm more and more convinced about Ryan Day being the new Matthew Stevens.
