i enjoyed that match lots of errors but led to nice drama and tension, i thought day's emotions got the better of him and if he was more patient could be fought through this one.

Looking forward to today's matches. Hendry got the lowest ranked qualifier, but I don't think Selt would have been his first choice. Hendry can get caught out in 1st rounds, but I think he might scrape through this one. Especially if there's a good atmosphere, it was decent for Higgins I suppose.
Ebdon-Liang is the match of the round for me (or at least second to Selby-Doherty), I'm surprised it's not Eurosport's first choice. I think Liang has a psychological edge on Ebdon, so I predicted 2-5 I think. But I can see Ebdon being up for this match.
I'd love to watch both of these two matches, it's a shame one of them isn't on in the evening. Especially as Murphy-Pinches and Allen-McCulloch have the potential to be a bit one-sided.

It was decent (decent not fantastic) for Higgins, but it was a week-end day. Now we are on Monday with people at work and youth at school ... Given how poor attendance has been until now I'm afraid it wont be great.Proud winner of the 2008 Bahrain Championship Lucky Dip
