Both Ronnie and Williams have to win their first round matches first

As long as Ronnie beats Burnett then yes a couple of tasty matches in store..

          • It just had to happen, didn't it?

Cope-Allen should be another interesting one, Robertson-Doherty as well.

The two weaker pairs, on papers at least, are Walden/King-Milkins and Perry-Pinches.

And btw, who exactly is "Lord Provost" and what does he do?

              • Rob Walker is now introducing Bingham as Stuart "ballrun" Bingham.

                • Surely Ronnie isnt going to play all the match left handed...
I love the game of snooker :) (even though my mates think that its just a load of balls :D )

He's already played a few shots right handed. What a spoil sport eh.

                          • Williams is in good form... It's been a long time since I've seen him as sharp as this.

Good for Mark. Is it a case of Williams creating his own chances or Stuart setting him up?

Williams stole first two frames, Stuart had a good lead in both frames. Williams discovered a couple of good plants to keep the break going in the third frame but couldn't take it in one visit, he's back among the balls now, though.. Looks strongly like 3-0
