  • Williams is starting to play now, awesome stuff. And as fast as it gets as well. Milkins will be thankful for the interval now.

    • A nice break of 73 makes it 3-1..

Mark has got a bit of his touch back and punished Milkins in the last two frames..
      All the way Mark J!!

          • Williams looks like he's totally in the groove and cueing quite beautifully, and even though there's still some way to go in the match it's hard to see Milkins winning from 1-3 down..

Superb century, especially 2-0 down, under pressure

Strange that we, including me, all call his weak mental side "the old Ding" though, considering he is just 22

                  • I wonder will Milkins compose himself after the midsession interval? He seems like a better player tonight, but made some careless mistakes. It should have been at least 2-2, if not 3-1 for Milkins.
Ding seems to be cueing well. I guess he'll turn this match arround.

                      • Lots of audience I have noticed, and lots of them appear to be young Chinese. Wonder if they are students living in the UK perhaps?
I can only imagine millions of Chinese viewers sitting in front of their TV in the middle of the night watching this.
Who would have thought Chinese will be such a big market for snooker a few years ago? I cannot help but noticed so many Chinese sponsor patches being worn by the players, and the tables they play on are also made in China.

                          • yep but he keeps it inside usually and he is extremely emotional i am the same when playing its so understandable.

this has been an extraordinary effort and break from peter - what a pleasure it has been to watch this match so far.

                            • Gotta love the way Peter Ebdon plays the game of snooker, and the "antics" that go along with it.

If he can clear the table here, it will be the break of the week.
