Unfortunate for Drago and his fans that he will be the next opponent !

But is good to see stong new players getting good results.

Good thing. He deserves it after his disappointing so called loss in the Round Robin of the Grand Prix. I think the Round Robin format is an exciting format, but what happened to Issara Kachaiwong seems to me THE (probably only?) disadvantage of that format.

He was very unlucky in the Grand Prix. I saw him play on TV and I was very impressed. Good prospect. However Lee Spick is fighting back and it looks like it will be 4-2.

We spoke too early. Lee Spick made a great come back and won 5-4.

Well done, Lee Spick. But I feel sorry for Issara Kachaiwong. What happened? Did he lose it (playing poorly)? Of did Lee Spick win it (playing superbly)?

Anyway, Lee Spick has to dig deep in his wallet now, becaus he has to pay for travel to and lodging in Malta! I hope he won't have to sell his colour TV to be able to do so...

It's hard to say how they played. We can only look at the frame scores.

This is interesting. If a player goes to an overseas tournament, who pays for the travel cost? It's a bit unfair that the players have to pay for their own travel IMO.

I reckon they have to pay for it themselves. I think it's 'part of the game'. They have an income (i.e. price-money, exhibitions etc.) and they have to use that to pay whatever is necessary to do their work. For the top-players that will be no problem I think, but for lower ranked players who don't earn much from snooker, like Lee Spick, it can be a problem I guess. I don't think that in this case the fact that they decided to hold the Round Two/Tony Drago-match in (on) Malta will make any difference. Or will it?

What happened to Roy Stolk? He actually managed to win two frames! Not a single break over 30 though...

Edit: C'MON ROY! Keep the Dutch Hope alive!!
