Well i guess it makes it bit easy for the oversea players, they just need to stay for 2 month, and if they didnt' qualify, they can go back, which will save them alot of travel/staying cost. Also other events can be scheduled to avoid these busy periods
Were there matches starting at 11 today? Or did I imagine that?
Edit: Yes there are, and Ding is losing
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
Ding Junhui 1 - 2 Dave Harold
Nigel Bond 2 - 1 Tian Pengfei
Alan Mcmanus 1 - 1 David Roe
David Gray 1 - 2 Andrew Higginson
Joe Perry 1 - 1 Fergal O'Brien
Ryan Day 3 - 0 Joe Jogia
Mark King 4 - 0 David Gilbert
