A lot of people keep mentioning that Matthew Stevens has much more talent than his ranking titles suggest. If he really had that much talent, wouldn't he have more titles? Or maybe he simply isn't really that good?

One cant say Jimmy wasnt talented enough to win the World title, can one ?! It just wasnt meant to be...
Matthew is a talented player and in my opinion , he is capable to win any of those events . It's true he didnt have great results lately - last season was pretty poor for him i could say ( tho he had a good start, winning NIT and PB ) , I think a lot of things happened in his life and was a bit hard for him to cope with them ...dunno ... or maybe was a "down" period in his career , happens to all them players.
I for one am confident he will raise one of those trophies one day soon."I just want to live for the moment.Tomorrow's not important, next month is not important, what's happened in the past is not important. That's my journey... and I like the journey i'm on!" R.O'Sullivan

Because of his brilliant recent record in Malta I would say Graeme Dott but becuase of what has happened in his private life I am reluctant to say him. However he has a great of reaching at least the semis with the draw he has.TSF World Champion 2010

Hendry did look like he was on excellent form yesterday, but I think I'll wait until the first round has been played before I put all my virtual money (got a virtual tenner, btw, so I'm in again) on someone.Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

Of course Ding has to be mentioned, he is also a possible winner . I would love another Ding-O'Sullivan final , but this time is not possible , only a semifinal... they are both in the same half of the draw...so if i am to pick another possible finalist and maybe winner from the second half ..errrr...i would go for John HIggins
Sorry folks ..i was just trying to explain the lady who posted that, that she should do herself a favor and stop predicting ..she sooo far from the reality !
Seriously now , i was just wondering who to tip as the winner of this tournament now Maybe Hendry , or Kendo, or maybe one of the players we less expected to win..like..hmm maybe...err...
