For years now I have wanted my favourite players to do well in the final rounds of the Malta Cup and make that a little gift for my birthday.
Well every year I get bitterly disappointed, this one being no exception...
And now that Hendry is out, I will root for a change, I say make it a Day - Carter final!

Yesterday I said I fancy the winner of Doherty or Ebdon to win the Malta Cup.

Having watched Shaun Murphy play this afternoon, I now fancy the 2005 World Champ to win his 2nd ranking event tommorow.

He scored very heavily when in the balls and won 5 of his 6 frames with one visit.

I think Ebdon will beat Ryan Day today and to be fair I wasn't overly impressed with Ebdon last night.

I reckon Murphy will win!
