Inspired break there by Drago 61 I think, too much sidespin and he's missed the black, looked very annoyed.

Good safetly play by Parrott. And Tony too.

Am I only talking to myself tonight? lol

Edit: Parrott needs one snooker. 4-4!!!!!!!!! YES!

Stupid decider.. Wasn't a good match for Tony, Parrott deserved to win.
Tony really hasn't got any luck in deciders against Parrott..

Hopefully we will see Drago again on TV soon, he'll surely play better next time.

I reckon he's too busy thinking about the Empire Pool Tour this weekend!

Well done JP. It probably helped him to be playing before the TV camera's, even if the crowd was obviously rooting for Tony. Has to be better than the cubicles.

I thought this would be a close match and I was right! But i thought Drago would win. However, well done Parrot!

I left the telly on mostly to hear how the others were doing, as this was indeed a clown performance... still the odd good half frame / frame or two. Too bad Parrot didn't get his century! I actually did put my book away for the last two frames, got sucked in somehow towards the end there. I've never actually seen Drago play before, but he did some really great safety shots, something that surprised me, but I guess it's out of necessity with the "hit'n'run" style.

Too bad they didn't show any statistical info during the match, I would've loved to know Drago's average shot time! (I also tried to envision a match between Drago like he played yesterday and Peter Ebdon or Nigel Bond on one of their slower days.)
Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

                    The match wasnt that bad.
                    Parrott made breaks of 44, 57, 56, 99 and 50.
Drago made a break of 61 and the longest frame of the match was only about 24 minuites.

I enjoyed the match, and well done JP!

Plays Holt next. If he can Get Holt wobbling early on, he has a good chance but needs to cut out silly mistakes.

If you can screw with Holt's brain, he's lost before the match even begins. Not a very stable player. But if Holt's head is put on right, he's a very dangerous lad.

did anybody see that little fencing session? Drago trying to fend Parrott of from doing a good shot and Parrot doing an 'ObiwanbenKenobi'(??) with his cue. Who says there was no entertainment in the match

Yeah that was hilarious! In a way it was great to see Parrott and Tony, players you saw more often on TV ten years ago.

But it was also painful to watch at times, particulary Tony who played dreadful most of the match, rushing the shots even quicker than normal. Except for that 61 break, he played the worst I've seen anyone play on TV in a proper match ever.

I have not read all the posts, but did anyone bring up Drago should be considered a fine or penalty for his behaviour. First, he conceded a frame, 58 behind with 59 on the table. Second, he slammed the table. Bringing the game into disrespect in my book!

                                JP deserved to win.
