Hendry vs Robertson

All frames have been fairly similar so far. Hendry has dominated the early parts, making 50 breaks in the first two, but has broken down a few balls from securing the frame. Robertson has then had chances to steal the frames but on all three occasions so far, failed to clear.
Hendry's play has obviously been 'good enough', hasn't missed any sitters but not quite as strong as he was against Milkins. Robertson has been decent but yet to really settle, and it has to be said he's been unlucky in that when he's missed a tough red, he's usually left it.

Frame 4 underway. Hendry plays a lovely long red with drag to hold for the black, and is in with a good chance of a decent break.
Faultless so far from Hendry, break now 56 (all blacks, though no max on)
Snookers required, break now 78
Split the remaining reds and was left a tough cut down a cushion, which he's potted. Looks good for the century now.
Century's in, possible 133 on.
Missed a tough pink but the 120 gives Hendry his 701st career century and a comfortable 4-0 lead at the interval.

Frame 5 now:
Robertson has a go at a tough long red off Hendry's break but misses it. Doesn't leave anything too easy but Hendry manages to cut a nice red into the middle for the first scoring chance.
Hendry makes 13, but black and pink safe he tries a very tricky positional shot to get on the black and leaves himself on nothing. Good safety follows.
Robertson has no option but to roll into the pack. He does so but leaves a half chance into the middle for Hendry. Hendry misses and leaves the red on. Chance for Neil...
Robertson makes 9 but fails to get on the right side of the blue. Tries to go all around the table to split the pack off the blue but instead collides full ball with the brown, leaving only a safety.
Safety battle ensues, and after a few shots Hendry leaves a red a foot away from the corner pocket but gets a good white.
Robertson attempts the red but just misses it, leaving Hendry in with a good chance.
Hendry is proceeding confidently. Black safe but working off the pink and blue Hendry is on 38 and counting. Leads the frame 52-14, just a few balls away.
Snookers now required but Hendry leaves himself a very difficult red on 47 and misses it. Robertson needs one snooker, attempts a long red and misses it.
Robertson plays an excellent safety, bringing the black into play and snookering hendry tight behind the brown in baulk. Hendry misses the red and Robertson can now tie. Faced with a long red from which he can't get on the black, Neil wonders whether to play the pot, the safety, or put Hendry in. He chooses the latter and Hendry has a go at the long pot himself.
Hendry misses but gets the white into baulk and doesn't leave a red.
A safety battle now takes place which Neil (with some help from the middle pocket jaw) gets the upper hand in. He has a difficult quarter ball cut to roll down the cushion and misses it, leaving the red hanging over the pocket. Neil gives a wry smile, turns around and shakes Stephen's hand.
5-0 to Hendry, giving Robertson his third professional whitewashing and Hendry his 116th ranking quarter final.
