Masters 2008 Tickets???

I was just planning my trip to London in January, thinking there would be enough time left as tickets usually go on sale in November, when I noticed that on ticketmaster and livenation they will be available next monday!
There isn't even a drawsheet nor have the qualifiers been played yet.

Is anyone going to buy tickets next week? And do you know how to get those all day tickets?

Not sure, but if it is like last year, you won't be able to buy the all day tickets online and will instead need to phone Ticketmaster, where the ticket sales are handled by their specially set up Incompetent Gibbons Department.

As long as you allow a total of, say, 3-4 hours on the phone and 8-10 calls, there should be no huge problem getting tickets. Provided you call at a time that isn't busy, a typical call should consist of no more than 30-40 minutes waiting time, followed by a maximum of 30 minutes talking to someone who can't work their systems and who will finally inform you that he doesn't know how to sell the tickets because he isn't a snooker fan and who will explain that your best bet will be to phone back again and hope to get through to someone else who might know more about how to sell tickets.

Phone the box office on monday. I am certain Ronnieisthebest and Littleminx got an all day ticket. Will save you around 20 quid for the final! I know because I ordered them on the internet and were much more expensive.

Not sure if you can get them directly from the Wembley box office by phone - you couldn't last year (at least, not as far as I could see - they said to call Ticketmaster).

Yes, it is certainly worth getting the all-day tickets as they work out much cheaper than buying two sessions separately in one day. Hopefully this year they will make the all-day tickets available online (I have no idea why they shouldn't be), rather than having to phone for them.

Certainly true. The UK final full day is only 30 quid this year, buying them directly from The Telford International Centre The NI Trophy full final costs 49.50. Had to buy it from ticketmaster Ireland, 2 separate sessions.
