Oh well, things change, as long as the crucible remains a constant that's all that matters. I will be sitting next to PaulTheSoave for the 2 days. I will look into the holiday inn then, cheers for that!

Tickets have gone on sale today

Fans can book their seats by calling 0870 060 0870 or visiting www.livenation.co.uk/wembley. Tickets for the final sell quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets were on sale from yesterday. And for the final there were even hundreds of seats left last time with ROS and Ding in the final! 4,000 seat capacity. Sounds like a bit of scare mongering.

I think it's fair to say that the earlier you book tickets, the better your chance of choosing seats with a better view. Given the size of Wembley Arena, there may well still be seats available on the final day, but these could be some way back and might make it look like you are watching a game of marbles if you wait to book until then.

I agree, though I have to say when I booked for The UK final very early i got a seat on the first row and my view was blocked by the headboard behind the players' seat. If not it was blocked by Ebdons' skull!

The stands in the arena are quit steep, so wherever you have a seat the view is quite good, even from the upper rows.

I had the pleasure to sit in one of the higher rows at one of the matches, the view was excellent but I couldn't see the colour of the balls even with my glasses on

in that case, one should take a pair of binoculars in case the seat is too far back

guess i'm gonna have to trust my luck... errrr... & a pair of good binoculars
