Evening session matches decided on the final black two days in a row - haven't seen that before.

Good clearance by Lee. All in all though it's a miracle he won; considering how badly he actually played most of the time.

Offcourse he is. The clearence in the deciding frame was one of the best i've seen under such pressure. It reminded me of the clearence that John Higgins made against Ronnie in the deciding frame of the 2006 Masters.
Grat victory for Stephen Lee, this should raise his confidence a bit.

That means Stephen Lee has beat Graeme Dott seven out of eight. Great clearance to win from Lee and it may inspire him.

There's always memories of the Ebdon 'Come ons!' when they play. They've had close battles in the past, so I'm looking forward to that match as well.

I was lucky enough to be there again today and saw two good matches. Ding impressed me though it could have gone 5-5 and who's to say Lee's win won't give him the confidence boost he seems to be lacking.

Still can't pick a winner so i'll be sitting on the fence until sunday night!

That was a great break from Stephen Lee under the circumstances and fair play to him. Unfortunately, I knew the result as I watched it on BBC, otherwise I'd have been expecting him to miss many of those balls. Just shows, its never over, until its over...

Interesting fact: we'll have a new Masters champion as all five past champions are out. Of the remaining, only Ken (twice) and Ding have played a final.
