    • I ll go for the fresh blood named Selby ...great attacking player and what an added value for snooker
I saw that going differently in my mind

      • Selby is the king of the deciding frame, won 3 deciding frames to the final.
also he won two deciding frame to the final in 2007 world champion.

        • i'll go for Selby too...he's in a great shape and today he was brilliant
another reason i think Selby will be the winner tomorrow it's the fact that he can play under pressure better then anyone...

          • very poor show from Marco .

Lee didnt need to get out of 2nd gear for much of the match, though he played quite well in patches.

well done to both Lee and Selby in reaching the final.

IMO Selby has had a harder path there (not Lees fault) so id like to see him going on to win it, though i dont dislike Lee, so if he wins i wont be "upset"

hope its a good match with a lot of "a complete mixture of types of frames"

            • I agree about the easier path for Lee, but still, I'd prefer him to win, because I somehow like him better
From the snooker point of view I expect Selby to make it though.

                • I expected a better quality snooker. They are obliged to provide us with a better quality snooker in the evening session.

                  • I would like Lee to win. Selby looks to me as he has not taken the final seriously.

He usually looks like that, that's why they call them Jester, I guess.

                      • i was very disappointed to see 4 or 5 scrappy frames in the final...both players made lots of mistakes and Selby had a really bad cue ball control...
I didn't see the first 3 frames 'couse i didn't manage to get live streaming for them..and i see now that selby made a 88 and a 124 clearance.

I hope in the final session we'll see a better game from both players....because apart from the 2 breaks made by selby....the game was quite low...

In the last years the Masters had some great finals with great performances from Paul,Ronnie,John...

At least it makes him different from other players and as long as neither his opponent nor the referee minds, I think it's fine to joke.

don't agree. every one of the guys has his own way to behave around the table, and to me selby doesn't seem too relaxed there.
he realised that during the last weeks he just might have tried to hard and lost what usually makes his game: the fun playing it. so he said he was ready to go out there and enjoy playing again. since which his game has improved again. he wants the title very badly and I think after his performances during the last days he would deserve to win the thing.
I'm not discrediting lee at all, he's been great too on several occassions during the last days, but still. I'm in for selby.

that being said, I agree, I'd like both of them to play a better game tonight. the better may win, and in the end, if it's lee, that's fine too.

true, he drives me crazy with that and ruins his break building. he did pretty well in the first three frames, eventhough he had to repair a couple of poor shots there too.

hope he gets that under control tonight.

I think this attitude is which is making him quite popular. Otherwise he's not that special, I might even say he's a pretty slow player, but a spectacular shot maker. And of course it's fine to behave like a 'Jester' if that's helping him to concentrate (winning 3 deciders in a row shows he's mentally strong).

I for one don't really like his style, but that's my problem.
