    King targets title

No Ranking points for the Masters, so Mark King won't lose too much sleep over that. He's very low provisionally at the moment, so he'll have to reach a final this season to stay in the Top 16. That's why his luck will change and we'll see the best of him pretty soon. His century in frame 6 today was magical. The only other player who can make a century as quickly and nonchalently as that is Ronnie

You are right about that century. Even Ronnie can't play so fast and fluent. On the other hand, Ricky Walden anoyed me a bit yesterday. Why is he walking around the table before every shot?! Even on the most simple shots. I guess he is anoying to his opponents as well. And his supporters in the crowd were awfull. They applauded to King when he got a double kiss and left the red over the left corner pocket in freme 7. If i was in King's place i would jump into the audience in Eric Cantona style.

Ranking or no ranking event the fact is last night Walden wiped the floor with The Romford Godfather.....

As for the title King is targeting.....i think he will sooner beat Ricky Hatton than win a ranking event.

It´s not every time, but he has a strange playing rhytm. As said he uses a lot of time considering the balls, but then he often pots 5 - 10 balls very fast and then another long consideration. But last night he potted himself out of every problem.

Selby will be a different proposition for him today, but he should give Selby a bit of a headache

My God, Walden is the most boring snooker player ever, no wonder Ronnie lost the Shanghai Masters final while playing against him. Ronnie is well known for his lack of patience, but I think Walden is able to drive crazy even the most patient opponent. This seems to be his secret weapon!

In my opinion Walden has no winning perspectives; Selby is the Masters title defending champion and he is way too good for Walden!

What are you talking about? Ricky Walden played a very attacking snooker in Shanghai and he won it in style.

How come Trump plays right handed with the rest being a left hander?

I quite like Walden as well, he goes with swift stride around the table and does not hesitate too much. When I saw his match yesterday I was surprised he did not do better in the tournaments after his Shanghai win.

balls spread all over the place and both players are wasting chances

Pretty disapointing from both players. Mark Allen is leading 3-1 with a pot success less than 80% which is really low for a top 16 player. Judd Trump slightly better (around 85%) but at times shot selection and positional quite eeerhhh surprising? Is it the pressure of the occasion?

And poor audience as to be expected on a Monday morning.

Selby is not too good for Walden. They are very similar in style and capabilities. Both of them waste too much time between shots. I give Walden a slight advantage over Selby.
