OT: I turned black!
If Snookerfan is not around, could anyone help me with the award ceremony??
And permission to disagree, Ronnie. On snooker nights like this, the game is not dead. Tis alive and kicking and inspiring.
I got it wrong again. It was Selby that had a few more big breaks, and O'Sullivan won the close ones. Was is three frames he won on the black? Good to see that sort of thing. If anyone thought that O'Sullivan was going to have it easy tonight, he was certainly proven wrong. Well done to Ronnie O'Sullivan, he's finally won a close one at The Masters in what has been a great final of a great tournament.
And btw, how did that red along the black cushion go in, in frame 14? Silly.
Fantastic Match, Ronnie on the whole probably deserved it as he didn't have a favourable run of the ball, and mark didnt take his chances in the closer frames.
Also congrats to ron who won a final not with blowing his opponent out of the door with century breaks, but with sensible matchplay snooker and had the right head out throughout the match even during the slow and tactically dominated frames.
The Welsh Open will have a lot to live up to, and lets see if we can get a 147 like we got from Andrew Higginson.
I wish i could have been at the wembley arena tonight to witness the beautiful game, who says the sport is in turmoil?
I am currently very high, but also sad as im going to miss the snooker so much, can't wait to be in sheffield in a few months.
Goodnight everyone, and hope you enjoyed a final which surpassed the excellent Uk Final with Fu and Murphy.
Ronnie seemed to be on it all game today something was there that i have not seen before even one shot took him over 3 and a half minutes credit to Mark also lost a few frames he shoud have won, absolutly brilliant tournament and final :snooker:
Crucible 77's Grand Prix fantasy game champion 2008 :snooker:
Congratulations to Ronnie, and well played to Mark for putting up such a brave fight in defending your title.
Thanks both for a great final!
Oh yeah and thanks Ronnie for making me a little bit richer
