lets hope ronnie can have the run of the ball tonight instead of been hampered after every selby safety error.

Awesome steal in the 8th for Ronnie, yay!Especially the pink with the rest.
Because Selby stole one too, so they're even.
Great final so far, big breaks, tactical play, well-thought safeties, stupendous long pots by Selby, beautiful breakbuilding by Ronnie, very similar match stats concerning the pot success - about 92% for both - and Ronnie's shot time three seconds longer than Selby's (0.29 and 0.26 respectively, who woulda thunk?).
      C'mon, Ronnie!

        4-4 now!

Selby played well to come back.

Its gonna be Ronnie all the way!

        Go Ronnie!

Ronnie show's his class in pinching that 8th frame and it's to play for tonight!

            I've enjoyed it so far.

But tonight, the pressure will really be on.

I like that match so far! Thank god there is no shot clock. Would have ruinned the whole match. (And would have Ronnie made ancient-looking )

The audience is biased as always. I saw Stevens making left-handed shots like this and nobody was going frency. And while I am at it: Ronnie should stop to copy Matthew Stevens. His overstreching is not as good as Stevens so he should stay with the rest. (sarcasm)

I for one heard an equally loud crowd supporting Selby, even some savannah feeding time roaring at a certain point.

I think it's caused by allowing alkohol. Disgusting to see people carrying beer plastic cups into the arena, yuck!

Disgusting gamesmanship from O'Sullivan taking 3mins 40 for a pretty obvious shot. If that was Selby/Ebdon/Dott people would be calling for blood.

While I agree it wasn't very nice of him, I can't remember the previous time Ronnie did such a thing whereas with the ones you mentioned it happens more frequently. A lot more.

It was "don't over the egg the pudding" JV came out with, what that means I suspect I will never know. Just relieved Selby hasn't tried to bore Ronnie to death as he has done in the pase, time yet though!

It wasn't an obvious shot so I think Alex was more sarcastic here?

And I liked it. But I liked the mentioned match between Ebdon/O'Sullivan, too. That is more entertaining than boring centuries, imo.

I'm guessing it means don't over-think the shot, just go with your instincts.

                              Or else you'll come out with scrambled egg and not a sticky toffee (;

We're in for a treat tonight.

Yes it's nicely poised, and wouldn't be at all surprised if the match goes to a deciding frame.
