I think the impatience of the crowd got to Ronnie a little... urging him to play fast and attacking. But at this stage it's easier said than done.

This evening he has had so many chance - It could have been a 10-6 win to Selby if he'd taken them. Of course despite Ronnie good play today and in last couple of matches, Joe Perry should have beat him and something like that can spur a player on.
One thing is for sure, it has been an enthralling final.

I don't think the crowd helps either player. They called out when Mark was on a shot a few frames ago, he missed (his own fault) and then Ronnie had a chance and the ref quietened them down, although Ronnie missed then also.
