I should hope so. It's one of the most promising 1st round matches.

Quite a scrappy start though, neither player looks in the mood to score heavily at the moment.

1,000 spectators for a Sunday morning isn't bad going at all. First frame was a bit scrappy, but i'm sure it will improve. Nice to see a bit of banter between the two players..

Very good break by Selby, especially the shot on the penultimate red.

Great clearence by Mark in the second frame. The position from yellow to green would have been very tricky if he didn't chose to play the green from the last red and nudge the black from the green spot. Also bringing the last red from the cushion in front of the left corner pocket was a classy shot. this was one of the better clearences i have witnesed.

I dont blame Ding going for that Blue in the 2nd frame, he seemed to be cueing okay during that break of 42 and only just missed the Blue, and would have been on a easy red and would have been in with a good chance of winning the frame..
