Must of hired King for some coaching.
No matter how much he misses, can't be torn off top 16.

Remember the frame Ronnie missed the frame ball? And then fouled the brown due to a good safety from Neil?

Neil could have put him in to play it again. He didn't. Instead took on difficult red. And potted it. And what a red it was!

Could have, should have, would have.
It's just a matter of execusion and God help us if too much of self-assuredness is based on one red.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

      • This match wasn't obviously kinda match when Ronnie starts poorly but his opponent cant get away letting Ronnie in
But I think chance Robbo missed in 4th frame was quite crucial anyway

        • I can't pinpoint the exact moment that made me write about Neil's excess of self-assuredness. It was just my feeling and since I am not a player, I cannot comment on his choices, tactical or otherwise.
Just a feeling. And who wouldn't have, after three perfect frames, won both by impressive potting and breakbuilding and determination plus a wonderful steal to win on the black?
But it proved decisive in the end.

What about the black which he missed while playing right-handed
Yes Ronnie went in-off after that but I couldnt miss that moment

I remember it well.. And Ronnie also missed a blue right after potting a frame ball, but which frame I can't get it.. It only lengthened the tactical battle, though..

But I have to disagree with your point about Neil's decision. The way he played up to that moment, I would have been surprised had he asked Ronnie for a replay

Quite simple pot, but he was too focused to split the reds on the left cushion..

We watched a very dramatic encounter, now looking for sadly injured Mark J's match.. Hope he does well

                Come on Mark!!

                  • Girls.
Do we have to review and "what if" this match like an episode of The Bachelor or a bad date or indigestion?
Why can't we just savour the exquisite flavour of two [ this and the Murphendry ] of the most delicious matches we've been treated to in ages?!?!?

                    Just sayin'.

                      • It provides an interesting topic for discussion. How differently player's actions are viewed, Boy.

It think I know which black neworleans is talking about. Near the board along with a red, played with a little jump.
I didn't see anything pompous about attempting it..

I think this discussion was more effectively silenced by neworleans and that's where your punishment lies.

It was the fact that he played it right-handed that was a little ambitious.

But he had to play it, and it would have been equally tricky with the spider or whatever.
