Stephen offered to take the mid session interval early to allow Mark enough time to get his cue fixed. Once the time was up Mark continued to play with a borrowed cue for the first couple of shots of the next frame until he got his cue back. His cue had been cut down with the tip being attached straight to the wood and therefore having no ferrule. Mark went on to score three more centuries with his ferrule-less cue and still lost the match. It was a very high quality match and Mark was very unlucky to have lost. Hope that answers the question!sigpic A Truly Beakerific Long Pot Sir!
