now it seems there are TWO players that Ronnie doesn't want to LOSE TO.
In other words, today, Robertson ratcheted himself up a notch in Ronnie's books.

Doesn't get better than that. Probably will be Best Match of The Masters.

In what way Noel did NR go up a notch in Ronnies books? Judging by his post match comments he still clearly feels its only Higgins who can challenge him when his playing his best stuff.

Robertson did great to go 3-0 but O'Sullivan finally got going. I would say that everything that Robertson displayed was good Snooker and his long potting was nearly perfect today. If I wasn't there looking for an O'Sullivan victory, I would have backed Robo all the way.

That is pretty much what I have heard there too.

But I also saw some pre-Masters interview where he expected it to be a tough match; did not seem to be discounting Robbo and mentioning he's a title winner and doing very well/maturing to a high level recently.

But dis-interested not in that bad way when it seems he just wants to get out of the hall asap.

In the same post-match interview he said he needed even that bad kick to the ass to start performing...
I mean being 0-3 down and crowd shouting.

From what he said he doesn't know how to trigger that click (but is trying not to worry anymore about it, as he's claiming latelly).
And this not knowing would mean that it's not enough for him to just to wish to win

I'm glad too that the best player I have ever seen [ and I have studied players since well before I made my first century in 1980 ]
continues to BE THE BEST. I hope he repeats!

Yes it really was. I stated in 2008 that NR wouldnt ever be a world champ. Still dont know why but still dont think he will.

Ronniw doesnt ALWAYS look interested in winning. Sometimes he just wants to go home. Granted since 2006 (uk walkout) he hasnt shown many glimpses of this but today he wanted to win.
