      Spot on!
The only other person who can wake the Sleeping Giant like that is John Higgins.

[ I consider myself lucky to have seen it! ]

I might say, Ronnie's "ENGINE" need some warm-up before he can switch his playing to B and a half or A game? I don't know. Just guessing.
Seems it's like you say it is. Machine doesn't feel like starting untill there's no real dunger/challenge/(interest?).

Also it seems Ronnie has some kind of a 'complex' playing against Higgins. Well, Higgins gets a little more lost for some moments on those occasions too, but slightly less lost then Ronnie since he takes the deciding frame. I mean 2009 China Open, Grand Prix, and the UK - all those matches especially towards the end when things got really stressy turned into a small miss-fests (very far from King matches, but still); somewhat less in the UK maybe. (And let's say 2009 Shanghai doesnt count - Higgins wasnt up for the fight or whatever that was).

Robbo will be sorry today's match did not add to Ronnie developing a 'complex' against him.
What is their head-to-head? Commentary said Robbo won against Ronnie on the way to 2 of his titles.

            What is "poll axed" ?

            Is that democratic something-or-other?

I think that Ronnie can win everything in next 5 years. But only if he has the desire to do that.Very strange person he is..
You cannot improve your game if you don't have a cue and snooker table

Did you make some bet against Ronnie?
If yes, how did you do that??
                      I also want it!!

                        True mate.
Ronnie vs Neil will be THE match of The Masters IMHO.
That O'Sullivan passed that test means to me he will win.

                        That would make me happy.

hi snooker fans Ronnie Osullivan even said after his match that he could not pot a long shot and stated he only potted 2 balls in 10 tries also he said if he would have played John Higgins instead of Neil Robertson he would have lost the match

One thing i admire about Ronnie these days he does not give up and does not give matches like he did with Stephen Hendry in the Uk Snooker Champs

Ronnie is to me a genius in Snooker and i like the way he plays good luck Ronnie and hope you win the Masters 2010

                          Cheers Leonard from Canada

Well... I thought he passed all the tests in the UK by killing off Selby and Ebdon 9-3. And there came Higgins hurdle.

Sometimes it seems it's a better chance he will try harder to win/take more seriously the next match if the previous one was more challenging... Like R1 with Perry last year. I was almost happy he lost to Robbo last week in Champions league for the same reason. So hope he won't be discounting the same Ebdon this time...

Good that the earliest possible meeting with Higgins is in the final.

You get the feeling sometimes it comes more down to entertainment for him, you see a great comeback (not suggesting he deliberately lost as Robbo was on sparkling form, but you get the feeling if he goes behind against a player doing well he notches up a gear), you see Ronnie playing great snooker, and everyones happy (except Ronnie of course he played "alright" )
                              When he trailed 0-3 yesterday, I told myself...WAIT and SEE...his engine will fired up...and nahhh...eventually he won....hahaha...nice
