  • Why Verhaas doesnt like Higgins

In UK Champs Jan Verhaas was making wrong against John with the miss rule. He didnt make mistake but he had his own chance to make it miss to Ronnie. Today John was touching red with cue, nobody see it exept Jan?
Is there big conspiracy behind everything after Barry came and took place at World Snooker?

This story was JOKE,John has been unlucky

nah, the UK was BEFORE Barry came to WSA right? If anything, it would be something personal between John and Jan... :P Or even punters making a quick buck with Jan? But nah... you're thinking too much...

In my opinion questioning the integrity of a top referee is a rather serious matter and that's what's done here. I would be extremely cautious with this.
Errors may happen of course. But after the discussions regarding the UK incident, I think it's clear there was no error. This is not an area where the ref has discretion.
As for today's incident, even if there was an error, it was not defining for this match. Higgins had a very bad day and was woeful. I'm sure he would be the first to aknowledge it as he is a very honest person.

I have just watched that, the referee was stood behind Higgins which was abit stupid as he couldn't see it.

To be honest, I didn't see it the first time, and obviously when you are stood there as the referee, there are no replays. I would give Verhaas the benefit of the doubt.
