But until then, we have a good schedule today, and I expect Maguire-Day to be the match of the day, as Day looked sharp in demolishing Perry, and Maguire will certainly up his game at QF stage.
Anyway, I hope there is a better game tonight..
As for matoski's point on Murphy, well, I've just arrived at a conclusion that sometimes( generally always ) things are not going in the way they're predicted to. So, I'll wait and see his mental development. He hasn't got much time left, though..All the way Mark J!!

I don't know about tonight... Selby and Allen played a great game last year, 6-5 with mostly one-visit stuff. The table is much tighter this year though, so the really in-form players are separated from the rest. I don't think either of them are at the top of their games. Selby was pretty solid against Ding, with no fireworks, while Allen was not bad against Higgins, but he gave him so many chances that he's lucky he's still in the tournament. If we assume they'll both raise their games for tonight, I'd give Selby the edge. He's a pretty good scorer, statistically better than Allen, and a much better tactician. They'll both enjoy the atmosphere probably, but when the pressure comes on, I think Selby's game can withstand it better.
Should be a good game, 6-4 for Selby is my prediction.

A hard match to call with both Allen and Selby having an indifferent season compared to their normal high standards. I'm going to give the nod to Mark Allen tonight, though he's going to have to improve on his safety if he wants to get past Selby and have a chance of winning The Masters.
Selby looks to be returning to form again and could prove a tough nut to crack in tonight's clash, even though i feel this match is likely to go very close, i still feel Allen will prevail 6-4.."Statistics won't tell you much about me. I play for love, not records."
