Selby seems dangerous enough to me.
Say he meets not Ronnie but Williams, not so sure what happens then... Come-back of one of them, probably
And this part of the draw did not look that bad before Higgins (or Ding) were not out yet...
Edit: OK, Maguire 'branch' looked like unjustfully favoring Maguire from the start
I know the scorelines. Which doesn't tell a whole lot here, Ding was poor. Allen was poor in the beginning. Selby has been.. well.. ok. Nothing spectacular though.
But scorelines can be misleading. Look at Day, right on the heels of a whitewash win, he got thrashed by a mediocre Maguire
Also single match (or even frame) -performances may be very misleading. The crappy Maguire could turn out to be brilliant in his next match. Leave alone Selbs, since he has showed quite a solid form so far. On the other hand we all know how Hendry is playing recently; He may come out and compile a HB of 25 in one whole evening.

We shall see.
And as we seen in Hendry's case that with that kind of game the titles elude him. Playing well consistently is the key.
