What a classic finale to a great match. Some of the stuff Murphy played under pressure was remarkable, but he wouldn't be human if he didn't twitch a little in the end. Williams' 63 break before he ran out of position was one of the coolest breaks I've ever seen.

Well played Mark Williams, one of the best matches of the tournament.

As for the guy that shouted "yes!" when Murphy missed... Disgraceful, Murphy deserved better tonight.

A high quality match with a plethora of breaks. Murphy showed what a great competitor he is and that he can perform under the utmost pressure but on the day it wasn't quite enough.

All credit to Mark Williams, after tonight's win i think he is pretty much back to his best, and we could be in store for a classic semi-final on Saturday against his old rival..
